Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone: Bacton road (AC21) Access Point

Murphy are the delivery partner for Norfolk Vanguard Ltd’s Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone’s cable route. As part of the construction of the 60km cable route, there are a large number of access points being installed to facilitate access/egress onto the working easement. Access Point 21 (AC21) is being installed on Bacton road, North Walsham. With a What3Words location of /// headlines.jumped.ultra. To allow for the works to be carried out safely, a road closure is required for Bacton road and will be in place for 31 days, commencing on Monday 11 th November.. During that time Bacton road will no longer be a through road and access will be restricted. The closure will only affect the works location and access to all properties each side of the closure will be maintained from the corresponding side of the works. Construction traffic will need to utilise the road to complete these works, so an increase in vehicle movements will be noticeable. We will endeavour to limit any potentially disruptive activities to the hours 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 – 13:00 Saturdays. We appreciate this may be an inconvenience, but every effort will be made to complete the works with limited disruption.
